Community guidelines

Showup connects online communities with in-person meetups, so these apply both on the site and at events.

1. Show up, or say so. If you RSVP and can't make it, cancel before the event. Hosts mark attendance, and your show-up rate is visible to others.
2. Meet in public places. Proposals and events use public meeting spots, never someone's home address.
3. Keep real identities where they belong. First names and photos are only shown to people going to the same event. Don't share them outside it.
4. No harassment, hate, or unwanted advances. This applies in posts, messages, and at events.
5. Be clear about the pace. Label events honestly so beginners know what they're signing up for.
6. Report problems. Use the report and block options, or tell a moderator. Safety reports are reviewed first.
